“Change can be good but it’s always tough to let go of the past”
― Emily Giffin, Love the One You’re With
“Renew, release, let go. Yesterday’s gone. There’s nothing you can do to bring it back. You can’t “should’ve” done something. You can only DO something. Renew yourself. Release that attachment. Today is a new day!”
― Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience
Time to thank the year for all its tests and lessons (not lessons and tests)!
Love the quotes Bindu ! Happy new year 🙂 I wish you a wonderful 2014 !
Thank you, Niki! Really late reply. But I wish you a wonderful 2014 too!
Lovely and timely post. But its never too late to wish you a happy 2014. “Let Go” are just two words yet very difficult to implement. Perhaps because we are insecure and possessive and hence we cannot let go 😦
Cheers 🙂
Thank you so much. It’s certainly difficult but we have to. And we are left with the shadows or ghosts of the previous years.
Let it go… easier said than done!
True. But have to… Thank you, Usha!
I agree – everyday should be a moving forward experience! Regrets on what we could have or should have, are just troubling thoughts, and do nothing other than clutter our minds and ruin the day. Learning to let go is a great lesson to learn. Takes a little time sometimes. But better late than never at all! 🙂
Thank you, SuzyWordmuser! Sorry for being so late to comment.
Yes, the thoughts have been cluttering my mind. Now slowly coming out of the grief and encouraging myself to focus on the present. Hope you are fine.
No worries about the late reply, we all do that at times! Yes, I’m doing fine, thank you! 🙂
No longer SuzyWordmuser now, slight change of name, but still the same Suzy! 😀
That name sounds more powerful. It’s nice to go for some change at times. 🙂 I believe that is your real name. Thank you for visiting.
Where are you..
Hello… Long time no see.. Back again? Shall soon visit. Taking a necessary break..
