Strong Women

A strong woman is one who is able to smile this morning like she wasn’t crying last night.

– Harriet Morgan

Strong women

A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.
 -Eleanor Roosevelt

It takes a strong woman, to drop everything, go through her phone, send one final text, delete his number, burn the letters & unwanted memories, and say I WON’T stress, cry, or blame myself anymore, & lets go.

Your words, along with Eleanor Roosevelt’s are a perfect combination.
Women are strong; at times we find we can handle things that we thought we’d never be able to. We have an inner strength that is powerful. And we handle tough jobs with class.

  17. Bindu, your post called to mind one of my favorite poems which was written many years ago by Marge Piercy. It’s posted at this site among many other places:

    • Thanks for that link, Julia. It encourages me to be strong. The fisher woman in the pic (just like any other in her community) has stories of endurance to say.
